LEGACY HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL BOOSTERS

ABOUT US​

The Legacy High School Football Boosters, Inc. is an independently funded organization of parents and interested supporters. ​Our purpose is to promote pride, respect, spirit and unity among the Legacy football players, the student body, school staff, coaches, families, and the local business community.

MISSION

To support and enhance the Legacy High School Football Program through volunteer assistance and fundraising, while promoting the highest standards of spirit and sportsmanship.

 

SUPPORT

Volunteerism is critical to our mission. Therefore, we rely substantially on the time, energy, and imagination of parents, as well as other community stakeholders, to support the goals of Legacy High School Football.

There are many ways Booster Members can be involved in the efforts of the Booster Club.  Volunteer opportunities for Booster Members include:  football camps, website management, team and player pictures, senior banquet, car wash, seeking program sponsorships and program ads,  concessions, team dinners, and creating fundraisers. 

​

Please contact a Board Member if you are interested in helping with any events, activities, or can help with raising funds to support the Boltz Football Program.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

The Legacy HS Football Boosters' Board of Directors consists of the following annually elected positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer & Varsity, JV and Freshman Team Parent Representatives. 

 

In addition, non-elected, non-voting roles may include Fundraising Coordinator, Concessions Coordinator, and Communications Coordinator. 

The Board of Directors meets regularly (approximately monthly or more frequently, as needed).

 

There will be at least one Team Parent Representative for each of the teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman.

Representatives gather and maintain all contact information for players and their families in their respective team. They serve as liaisons between Board and Committee activities and needs.

MEMBERSHIP

Any parent, guardian, grandparent of the football team members, which may also include any alumni interested in the Legacy High School Football Program, may be an active member of the organization.

​

Any student currently participating as a member of the football team is a student member of the Booster Club and is encouraged to attend the regularly scheduled Board meetings.  Football coaches may attend Board meetings.

Only parents and guardians of currently enrolled Legacy HS students present at the regularly scheduled meetings will be able to vote on issues presented to the general membership or run for the Legacy HS Boosters Football Board of Directors.

No dues will be charged for membership in the organization.

JOIN US!

Football Booster Meetings are generally held monthly at the Legacy High School.  Current football news and events will be shared and fundraising opportunities presented.  Please plan to attend these meetings; it is a great way to support the program!  Meetings are posted on the website calendar.​​​
